Personal Pronouns
Pronouns as subjects: I you he she it we you they
Examples:
I am here. You are there. He is in a meeting. She is on the phone. It is in the office, We are at work. You are at work. They are in the office.
Pronouns as objects: me you him her it us you them
Examples:
John knows me. John met you. John introduced him. John met her. John knows it. John introduced us. John knows you. John met them.
Pronouns as indirect objects use prepositions such as to, for, at, with, etc.: to me to you to him to her to it to us to you to them
Examples:
Sam introduced Kathy to me. Sam introduced Kathy to you. Sam introduced Kathy to him. Sam introduced Kathy to her. Sam introduced Kathy to it. Sam introduced Kathy to us. Sam introduced Kathy to you. Sam introduced Kathy to them.
Possessive pronouns: mine yours his hers its ours yours theirs
Examples:
This is mine. These are yours. That is his. Those are hers. This is its. That is ours. These are yours. Those are theirs.
Examples with the preposition of:
Peter is a colleague of mine. Peter is a friend of yours. Peter is a coworker of his. Peter is an employee of hers. This is a department of its. Peter is an assistant of ours. Peter is a colleague of yours. Peter is a friend of theirs.
Possessive pronouns (adjectives): my your his her its our your their
Examples:
Laura is my boss. Laura is your colleague. Laura is his friend. Laura is her friend. Laura is its leader. Laura is our employee. Laura is your superior. Laura is their coworker.
Reflexive pronouns: myself yourself himself herself itself ourselves yourselves themselves
Examples:
I introduced myself. You introduced yourself. He introduced himself. She introduced herself. It introduced itself. We introduced ourselves. You introduced yourselves. They introduced themselves.
