An exercise on Third Conditionals which have an effect on a present situation
created by Lynnea Mahlke with JCloze

This exercise helps you practice making Third Conditional sentences which have an effect on a present situation. These "if" sentences are actually a combination of the Third and Second Conditionals. The "if" part of the sentence is over and therefore impossible to change. If you would like to review this first, please go to the grammar explanation section.

Your task is to put the word or words in the right tense for each sentence.

For example:
Use the words: fly & to be
If I ______ to Europe this afternoon I ________ to Oslo.
Answer: If I had flown to Europe this afternoon I would be in Oslo now.
