We often use the
verb to be in introductions. Here are some examples of typical introductions:
- "Good
morning, my name is Jamie Roberts. How do you do?"
- "How
do you do Mr. Roberts. I am Larry Thomson. It is a pleasure to
meet you."
- "It's
a pleasure to meet you, too."

- "I'm
Carlos Demarco. Pleased to meet you, Mr. Mustafa."
- "Pleased
to meet you, too. Please call me Ahmed."
- "Thank
