We often use the Present Simple when we talk about products. Pay attention to the use of the Present Simple in the following examples and when you describe products in general. Bob's company develops software. They specialize in software for hospitals and doctors' offices. They exhibit their software at medical conferences. Most of their contacts, however, come from referrals. Many of their customers tell other people about their software products. Lynn's company makes machine parts. They create customized products for large companies, such as Boeing. Their customers send them details on the exact size and purpose of a new part. Lynn then designs a prototype, which they produce for testing. When the customer approves the prototype they go into full production.
